It is time to stop the excuses about not having time, other things to do, blah...blah...blah. When you make an appointment to see a doctor, with your kid's school or a business meeting, do you make up excuses or suddenly bail out at the last minute? Didn't think so... why? Because you made them a priority!
It's the only way out of our bad habits.
Listening to our bodies. What are they telling us? Tired, need creativity, to move, to eat healthy foods? Get quiet and listen! Our bodies know the truth and our minds lie to us and tell us it's ok while we're holding our breath. Sometimes aches, pains, unhappiness or feelings of being depleted are all signs that our bodies are trying to get our attention that there is something not working.
Loving ourselves just like we love our kids, significant others, family, friends and pets. When we love ourselves, we can love all these other people and animals even BETTER. When we're not loving ourselves, our love to others is dulled and lacking.
Prioritizing ourselves because we are worth it. This is the key to freedom, happiness and our best life. No one else can do this for us, but if you're willing to do the work to prioritize yourself, you are a revolutionary and will change the lives of those around you simply by modeling something new and different.
